Our client was sitting at a bus stop when an out-of-control big rig hit her. She suffered serious injuries to her shoulder, arm and legs and required multiple surgeries. Her legs are permanently damaged.
Brake failure case against manufacturer of the vehicle chassis, the designer of the left rear brake assembly and the outside brake repair company. Client suffered a fractured skull and closed head injury, fractured pelvis and right leg which required rodding. This is the firm's largest court-ordered arbitration award.
Construction site accident against a general contractor and a subcontractor. Plaintiff fell from an incomplete catwalk, suffering severe back injury leading to several lumbar fusions. Subcontractor settled prior to trial for $400,000.
Federal Court case for violation of civil rights, medical malpractice and failure to provide medical care. Client was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and incarcerated in jail. Prior bacterial infection was ignored by the jailer and developed into a spinal abscess. Abscess went untreated, resulting in complete quadriplegia.

Soft tissue injuries and derangement of the right TM joint, as a result of the first accident. The second accident aggravated the right TM joint injury and caused a new injury to the left TM joint. Our client's medical expenses were approximately $78,000 and approximately $150,000 for future medical treatment.

Plaintiff slipped and fell down his apartment stairs, causing him to sustain bilateral ligament tears in his knees. Offer prior to the binding arbitration was $35,000
Lumbar disc herniation with left side, severe back pain, neurological complications, and multiple spine surgeries. Plaintiff also had a brain injury called TIA and will need to be on medication for the rest of his life.

Infant received an overdose of parenteral nutrition. During emergency resuscitation efforts, an overdose of anti-seizure medication was given and as a result the infant was neurologically devastated. This was a medical malpractice case against the hospital and a product liability against the manufacturer of the infusion pump.

Jury Verdicts and Settlement
Inverse condemnation and negligence case against government entities and homeowners association for conduct resulting in a major landslide in the City of Rolling Hills, California.
Construction defect case involving a multi-unit condo complex. Homeowners association sued the builder for numerous defects as a result of water intrusion, inadequate drainage and poor construction.
Subsidence/construction defect case for 22 condominium owners, not all of whom suffered actual physical damage. Court order prohibits disclosure of the true name of the case.
Construction defect and earth movement case against developers.
